How to Make the Fancy Cafe Video With a Friend or Partner
Put two people you know into the viral fancy cafe clip: which roles to give them, which photos to use and caption ideas for couples, besties and coworkers.
How to do it with two people
On Fancy Cafe AI, upload your photo into 1 · The guest and your friend's photo into 2 · The regular, then order the clip. The guest sits on the table; the regular walks in, takes the bench and sets a coffee on the guest's "seat". Both faces stay in their roles for the full 16 seconds, with the original sound.
Who should play which role?
The guest is the one the joke is on. The regular is the one who knows exactly where to sit. Pick accordingly:
- Couples: whoever always gets lost in new places goes on the table.
- Best friends: the friend who still brags about the one fancy brunch they went to plays the guest.
- Roommates: the one who "decorated" the apartment plays the regular.
- Coworkers: the new hire on the table, the manager walking in. Keep it friendly.
Photos that work for both people
- One person per photo. Crop group shots first.
- Faces clearly visible and lit from the front.
- Outfits matter. The cafe is filmed from across the room, so clothing is half of how people recognise you.
- Similar framing for both photos (both half-body, for example) gives the most balanced result.
Caption ideas
- "POV: your first time in a fancy cafe with @friend"
- "Me on our first date vs. you"
- "Every brunch with my roommate"
- "New hire, week one"
How much does a duo video cost?
The same as a solo one. Every Fancy Cafe AI order includes the second person, so a duo clip is $9.99, and packs bring the price down to $5 a video for the whole group chat.
